Personalized PDF

A customer wanted to have an automated shoppinglist, and I was wondering if I could make it personalized, just as a bit of an extra for this customer. While searching for a way to do tis, I stumbled upon Altova style vision. After a bit of reading I decided to try it out. First you need to create an XML - file with the information that you want to include in your PDF. You do this by using your report in APEX. Under Print Attributes, set the output format to XML and click Apply Changes. Then click print on your page with your report and save the XML file. Then open Altova style vision and create a file using XML. You can add headers, footers and even images to the file, by drag and drop. You can completely customize the layout, fonts, sizes etc. Do remember that FOP can only use XSLT 1.0 as of yet.
